We Are Friends of the Yee Fow Museum

The Friends of the Yee Fow Museum have met with many individuals and organizations throughout California, the United States, Tawian, and China. They all support educating the public about Sacramento's rich Asian heritage that centers on the Chinese pioneers of Yee Fow.

California State Senator Leland Yee, Chair of Sustainable Development and Economic Progress as well as the Chair of Select Committee on Asian Pacific Islander Affairs, has expressed an interest in memorializing our Asian Pacific forefathers in Sacramento's Railyard. Senator Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg, Assemblyman Dave Jones, Sacramento County Supervisor Jimmy Yee, and Sacramento City Councilmembers Ray Tretheway, Rob Fong, and Lauren Hammond also has shown strong support.
